Hamish Simons
Managing Director
Hamish has extensive and varied knowledge across many facets of the Facility Management industry. He has managed mixed use and residential high rise; commercial and industrial buildings; and Australia’s leading iconic sport and entertainment precinct.
He regularly consults on developments to design preventative maintenance scopes, plant optimisation, R&M, and capital work budgets. An effective problem solver, Hamish has a keen interest in sustainability and optimising assets for the long-term benefit of stakeholders and communities.
Through his experience, he has established many positive relationships with leading industry service providers. In 2016 he achieved a Facility Manager Professional Designation from the International Facility Manager Association (IFMA).
Kathryn Simons
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager at Summit Facilities Group, Kathryn leads a team of 18 staff servicing over 3,600 stakeholders across a diverse portfolio. She has extensive experience in operational leadership, recruitment, and stakeholder engagement.
Kathryn has overseen the implementation and optimisation of key business systems, including CMMS platforms, contractor compliance systems, and company communications and training portal. She has led the development and rollout of company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Kathryn is also responsible for staff onboarding, training, and professional development programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Her strengths lie in strategic planning, systems thinking, and building high-performing teams.
